Lending Library

Welcome to the Editors Ottawa–Gatineau Lending Library! This pilot project is available exclusive for Editors Ottawa–Gatineau members. We have over 50 print works available for loan. While the topics of these titles focus on editing, the library includes style guides, reference works, writing memoirs, and graphic design titles amongst many others related to working with words. This service is available to Editors Ottawa-Gatineau members only.

Here, you will discover a growing collection that you may check out online for pickup or delivery. Browse the covers and use the request form to make a borrowing plan.

In the pilot stage, each loan will be handled on a case-by-case basis to ensure you have a suitable amount of time access, read, and return your borrowed books.

Delivery conditions

During the pilot period for the Editors Ottawa-Gatineau Lending Library, the delivery method may be restricted due to COVID-19 and physical location. Members who live outside of the National Capital Region will not be eligible for drop-off or pick-up. Delivery methods will be coordinated on a case-by-case basis, dependent on members’ interest in using the Lending Library.
